Four of us represented PARTORY at EuroBLECH 2026, where we welcomed many procurement teams to our stand. The conversations differed in language, company size and the parts being discussed. Yet they shared a clear theme: buying at a reasonable cost, securing reliable deliveries and managing daily work without an endless cycle of emails and follow-ups.
We came away with new contacts and a recurring observation: the core challenges of industrial procurement persist through economic cycles and across national borders.
Different company sizes, familiar daily challenges
When business grows, procurement needs to secure capacity and keep pace with production. When markets slow, cost pressure intensifies. In both situations, the underlying questions remain: How do we get the right part on time? How do we maintain the agreed quality? And how much work does ordering and coordinating each delivery involve?
Our conversations at the stand showed how similar these questions are for teams from different countries and businesses of different sizes. Volumes, structures and internal processes vary. The need for visibility and clear responsibility for delivery connects them.
The part price is only one element of cost
Buying metal parts involves more than comparing quotations. Technical queries, purchase orders, transport, delivery tracking and resolving discrepancies all take time. Even a part with a low unit price can create substantial work for a buyer.
One approach is supplier consolidation: purchasing a selected portfolio of parts from one supplier and reducing the number of deliveries managed separately. PARTORY manufactures and directly supplies custom metal parts to drawing. Customers have one point of contact, with PARTORY responsible for the agreed price, delivery date and quality.
Parts requiring several operations also need a coordinated production process. From cutting through bending to finishing, the steps must work together. That is why we present our metal parts manufacturing capabilities in the context of the finished part and its delivery.
Strong interest in PARTOOLS
Alongside manufacturing and supply, visitors showed strong interest in PARTOOLS, our new suite of digital tools for preparing parts and jobs. It supports tasks between receiving technical documentation and taking the next step towards production: working with geometry, viewing files and preparing data for calculations and quotations.
The PARTORY Tools catalogue includes tools for converting vector PDFs to DXF, creating flat patterns from sheet metal STEP models, and drawing or editing 2D parts. Their purpose is to make specific tasks with technical documentation easier. Outputs need checking before use in manufacturing, and calculations provide input for pricing.
The interest in PARTOOLS reinforced a theme running through our conversations: opportunities for improvement lie in both the cost of parts and the time and effort needed to prepare and purchase them.
From conversations in Hannover to production
Meeting at the trade fair is the start of further work: reviewing drawings, manufacturing capabilities and specific enquiries. We also bring to Hannover what we can achieve together with our manufacturing partners — and return with new opportunities that can develop into actual parts and repeat deliveries.
Thank you for visiting. Let us follow up with specific parts.
Thank you to everyone who stopped at our EuroBLECH stand, shared their requirements or came to try PARTOOLS. Meeting in person helps us identify where your procurement needs align with our manufacturing capabilities.
